Legal Counsel - Remote

Overview

The Legal Counsel provides litigation coordination and corporate secretarial duties with a good understanding of local laws and regulations, procedures, and concepts within their technical area, and a basic knowledge of other areas to understand how they relate to their own area.

In Short

• Handle, coordinate and track all litigation cases, disputes, and enforcement proceedings.
• Coordinate company secretarial jobs such as resolutions of board of directors and shareholders’ meetings.
• Support Senior Legal Counsel in providing consultancy on legal matters.
• Negotiate and approve legal documents.
• Handle bureaucratic tasks at Trade Registry, Tax Offices, and Notary Publics.
• Examine legal precedents and inform the Legal Department about new legislation.
• Work in a multicultural environment.
• Maintain effective relationships through excellent negotiation skills.
• Possess at least 4-6 years of experience in a reputable law firm or bank.
• Be licensed by any Turkish Bar Association.

Requirements

• Excellent command of written and spoken Turkish and English.
• Bachelors/University degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and intensive environment.
• Experience in litigation, commercial law, and company law.
