Financial Director - Remote

Overview

ParcelHero is looking for a driven and ambitious Finance Director to head up our finance team and provide strategic support to our CFO and senior management team. You will ensure the financial integrity of the finance function and develop strong business planning, financial control and reporting to maximise efficiencies and opportunities for growth.

In Short

• Lead and direct the finance team to deliver accurate management information.
• Develop and lead the evolution of the Company's financial reporting processes.
• Support budgetary planning and forecasting processes.
• Ensure all financial accounting and administration functions are performed properly.
• Produce and interpret management accounts.
• Ensure the year-end audit is performed properly.
• Generate and maintain the group's cash flow and budgeting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all tax and statutory matters.
• Drive financial planning, reporting budget variances, and cost control.
• Provide training and mentoring to the finance team.

Requirements

• Accounting qualification, ACA/ACCA or CIMA.
• 10+ years post-qualification experience in a financial management role.
• Strong proficiency in financial software and databases.
• Experience with financial forecasting software is a strong advantage.
