Overview

The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, providing technical leadership and expertise in customer security transformation journeys.

In Short

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas with strategic technical account plans.
  • Understand customer business requirements and create high-level designs.
  • Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks Platform.
  • Conduct discovery to articulate key imperatives of prospects and customers.
  • Work closely with Professional Services and Customer Success teams.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills through presentations and demos.
  • Lead technical validation efforts for assigned opportunities.
  • Promote end-to-end solutions including professional services.
  • Understand the competitive landscape in cybersecurity.
  • Continuously invest in personal technical and professional development.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering.
  • Skilled in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, or Cloud Security.
  • Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions preferred.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in creating and delivering technical presentations.
  • Experience in selling and implementing Network Security or SASE solutions.
  • Partner with Customer Support for successful implementation.
  • Experience in complex sales processes with multiple buying centers.
  • Field sales position with potential travel requirements.
  • Proficient in English.
