The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning how we best serve our customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance and ensuring value realization in their investment with Palo Alto Networks.

In Short

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic account plans.
  • Position and demonstrate high-level designs across the PANW portfolio.
  • Conduct discovery to understand key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
  • Work closely with Professional Services and Customer Success teams.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and influence through presentations.
  • Lead successful technical validation efforts.
  • Orchestrate supporting resources for a cohesive strategy.
  • Promote end-to-end solutions to ensure customers realize business value.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and differentiate our leadership.
  • Continuously invest in personal technical and professional development.

Requirements

  • Understanding of data networking and modern application design.
  • Delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges.
  • Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Creating and delivering technical presentations and workshops.
  • Experience in selling or managing network security solutions.
  • Partnering with Customer Support for successful implementation.
  • Experience in complex sales processes.
  • Proficient in English.
