Overview

As a Channel Systems Engineer covering a regional territory, your role will involve providing leadership, technical expertise, and guidance to partners on their journey towards becoming key Palo Alto Networks partners.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary technical leader for channel partners within the assigned region
  • Collaborate with focus partners in the territory to develop comprehensive business plans
  • Provide technical pre-sales support to partners, including product demonstrations
  • Collaborate with sales peers to identify opportunities for new partnerships
  • Plan and drive technical training sessions for partners
  • Support channel partners with technical issues during and after product implementation
  • Design and deliver customized solutions based on partner needs
  • Stay updated on product roadmaps and industry trends
  • Assist in the development of channel enablement materials
  • Maintain detailed records of partner interactions and sales pipeline

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Partner Solution Consulting or pre-sales engineering
  • Extensive knowledge in networking, endpoint, backup, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions
  • Strong understanding of channel sales models
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with product installations and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region
  • Proven track record of influencing key stakeholders
