Overview

The Associate Account Manager (AAM) will support customers in securing their cloud and on-premise environments, working closely with Account Managers to guide clients toward the right cybersecurity solutions.

In Short

  • Collaborate with Account Managers on customer acquisition and expansion.
  • Engage in pipeline generation activities, including prospecting and outreach.
  • Follow up on pre-qualified leads with the sales team.
  • Document all customer interactions.
  • Support complex sales cycles with partners and internal teams.
  • Develop understanding of Palo Alto Networks solutions and competitive landscape.
  • Identify client needs and provide guidance on products and services.
  • Monitor industry trends and their impact on products and services.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics set by management.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales or business development.
  • Hands-on experience with sales techniques, including cold calls.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud or SaaS environments.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Enthusiasm for technology.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-driven with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
