Overview

As a Manager of Engineering at Palmetto, you will be responsible for leading a multi-dimensional engineering team overseeing the full software development life cycle of our Palmetto Finance LightReach platform. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement, ensuring the team is aligned with both technical excellence and business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3-5+ years of engineering experience, with 2-3 years in leadership.
• Strong technical acumen with experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Recognized expertise in at least one discipline (e.g., MERN stack).
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale engineering projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and management skills.
• Ability to think strategically and lead technical personnel.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Demonstrable ability to motivate and support engineering teams.
• Excellent project management skills with strong prioritization ability.
