HR Generalist - Remote

Overview

Palmetto is seeking a proactive and resourceful HR Generalist to support Philippines-based teammates and manage end-to-end local recruitment. This role plays a dual-focused function across People & Culture and Talent Acquisition, serving as the day-to-day people partner for teammates in the Philippines while collaborating closely with the U.S.-based HR Business Partner and our Employer of Record, Remote.com, to deliver a consistent, high-quality employee experience.

In Short

• Support Philippines-based teammates and manage local recruitment.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based HR Business Partner.
• Act as a people partner for performance management and employee relations.
• Coordinate with Employer of Record on employee lifecycle events.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives to enhance organizational culture.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for Philippines-based roles.
• Develop sourcing strategies tailored to role requirements.
• Conduct candidate assessments and manage communication throughout the process.
• Use ATS tools like Greenhouse to maintain candidate data.
• Proactive and resourceful in delivering excellent employee experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Experience with performance management and employee relations.
• Familiarity with Employer of Record model.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes.
• Knowledge of the Philippine talent market.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Experience with ATS and HR systems.
• Ability to work across time zones.
• Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
