Overview

The Manager, Engineering is an integral part of the Everbridge senior development team supporting the SaaS-based communication platform, responsible for developing Java-based high-performance applications.

• Drive development and implementation of the technical roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience in backend application development.
• Experience with Java, Spring, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of REST, Microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience working in cloud-based deployment environments.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
