Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will develop new applications that integrate with our SaaS platform for critical event management and mass notification.

In Short

• Develop applications for critical event management and mass notification.
• Utilize AngularJS and ReactJS for front-end development.
• Leverage Java, Spring, MongoDB, and Postgres in back-end development.
• Translate user requirements into functional implementations.
• Design and implement Microservices for applications.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile scrum processes.
• Define and implement automated tests.
• Work with product management and technical teams to ensure project completion.
• Telecommuting permitted with occasional travel.
• Focus on scalability and performance of applications.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 1 year of experience.
• Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience.
• 1 year of experience with database schema design.
• Experience with CI/CD principles and tools.
• Proven ability with AngularJS / ReactJS frameworks.
• 1 year of experience with SQL and NoSQL solutions.
• Experience building Microservices using Java and Spring.
• Knowledge of scalable multi-threaded Java applications.
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
