Overview

The Group Underwriter plays a critical role in evaluating and selecting risk to ensure the profitable acquisition and retention of business at Pacific Life. This position is essential for the success of the Workforce Benefits team and involves collaboration with various internal departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 1-3+ years in group benefits underwriting.
• Proficient in underwriting core products.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience in a high-volume production environment preferred.
