Overview

The Sales Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing information and administrative support to the sales department of Orbite insurance services. This includes resolving insured issues, improving customer service efficiency, and providing administrative assistance to broker management.

In Short

  • Process daily correspondence, including reviewing, sorting, tracking, and forwarding incoming documents.
  • Order reports on behalf of sales brokers and attach them to the broker management system for review.
  • Initiate communications and ensure necessary follow-ups with members and stakeholders to request or verify required information.
  • Enter, audit, and update policy information in the broker management system and insurer portals.
  • Respond to administrative requests, including assembling information and documents, and coordinating lead distribution within the sales team.
  • Answer incoming phone calls or emails related to new sales prospects and redirect them to the appropriate brokers.
  • Make outgoing phone calls or send emails related to new sales prospects and distribute them to the appropriate brokers.
  • Perform any other related tasks based on skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the insurance industry or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills to manage priorities.
  • Telemarketing experience is an asset.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Initiative and motivation are essential.

Benefits

  • 6-month contract employment, with the possibility of permanent employment to be reassessed.
  • May be required to work overtime.
  • Working hours: 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
