Overview

The Bilingual Benefits Service Representative will be responsible for managing incoming inquiries in a call centre environment, focusing on group and individual life and health benefits, while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

In Short

  • Handle incoming telephone inquiries related to benefits.
  • Assist members with online registration and navigation for web and mobile applications.
  • Educate members about products and services.
  • Resolve member complaints regarding coverage and claims.
  • Process claim adjustment requests and cheque stop-payments.
  • Respond to member email inquiries.
  • Provide accurate information regarding coverage and effective dates.
  • Draft letters and prepare responses to routine correspondence.
  • Maintain historical records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary school diploma.
  • Experience in insurance-related courses.
  • Experience in group health, dental, and travel insurance.
  • Experience in a call centre environment.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance contracts and benefits.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual communication in French required.
  • Stay bonus after 6-month contract.
