Corporate Counsel - Remote

Overview

As Corporate Counsel at Ora, you will provide legal and operational support primarily to our Business Development/Sales and Clinical Operations teams, along with other functional areas such as Regulatory, Quality, IT, People Services/HR, Marketing, and our Ora Net team.

In Short

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide array of contracts.
• Conduct risk analysis and assessment to support business goals.
• Participate in departmental process improvement.
• Mentor and assist non-attorneys during contract negotiations.
• Engage in intellectual property management and legal compliance.
• Assist with legal entity registrations and general legal research.
• Adhere to Ora’s quality system and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• J.D. and current admission in a U.S jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Experience negotiating commercial transactions, especially in clinical research.
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and across multiple functions.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Intellectual curiosity in cross-functional teamwork.
