• Take hands-on ownership of all aspects of security at OpenSea including threat detection/response, infra, application & organizational security.
• Establish robust risk management processes and conduct regular assessments.
• Lead incident response and crisis management efforts.
• Foster a security-first culture through awareness programs.
• Oversee security compliance initiatives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align security initiatives with business goals.

Requirements

• 10+ years in security, with experience at a crypto company.
• Practical knowledge of blockchain security and crypto-specific attack vectors.
• Proficient in programming languages like Java, Go, PowerShell, Node.js, C#, Python, Ruby.
• Deep expertise in cloud-hosted environments, preferably AWS.
• Experience developing large-scale security strategies in a software company.
• Expertise in risk management and security governance.
• Effective communication skills with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Passion for improving crypto security.
• High ownership mentality.
• AI-forward mindset with hands-on experience.
