Head of Security (External) - Remote

Overview

The Head of Security will play a critical role in ensuring the security of all products within a pioneering Web3 venture studio focused on blockchain technology.

In Short

• Responsible for the security of new and existing products through pentesting and threat modeling.
• Oversee cryptographic key management and encryption strategies.
• Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline.
• Assess security risks and develop mitigation roadmaps.
• Provide security guidance for on/off chain products.
• Review and secure smart contracts and digital assets.
• Conduct security risk assessments and audits.
• Develop policies and training programs for security awareness.
• Promote a positive security culture within the organization.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a security lead.
• In-depth knowledge of consensus algorithms and cryptographic mechanisms.
• Experience in Security Architecture for blockchain applications.
• Knowledge of blockchain-specific incident response and threat intelligence.
• Proficiency in blockchain analytics tools.
• Experience in conducting smart contract audits.
• Prior work experience in blockchain/cryptocurrency fields.
• Understanding of network security measures.
• Secure coding and security testing knowledge.
• Understanding of OWASP top ten web application security risks.
