Overview

The MSPL Account Manager at McKesson will develop business relationships with key stakeholders in community practices and health systems, managing a portfolio of existing customers within the specialty business.

In Short

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Manage 25-40 existing customers in a defined territory.
  • Identify business opportunities for McKesson's services.
  • Support Therapeutic Interchange meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer service.
  • Achieve annual performance objectives related to revenue.
  • Promote additional products and services to existing customers.
  • Must travel extensively (30%) to meet customers.
  • Work in a remote/home office environment when not traveling.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in sales, marketing, business management, or healthcare preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in sales or account management.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organized and focused on results.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Sales experience in a professional setting preferred.
