In Short

• Design, develop and maintain data infrastructure, including data pipelines and data warehouses.
• Drive data strategy to enable advanced analytics and support Generative AI and Machine Learning.
• Collaborate with machine learning, analytics, and backend engineering teams.
• Implement robust streaming and batch data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, and Python.
• Ensure data infrastructure is reliable, secure, and scalable.
• Monitor and improve data infrastructure for high availability and performance.
• Establish MLOps workflows for ML model deployment and monitoring.
• Drive feature engineering and create systems for serving features for machine learning.

Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in software engineering for a data platform.
• Expertise in Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Advanced knowledge of production-level Python.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and ETL processes.
• Experience with real-time streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and workflows.
• Proficiency in Databricks and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset.
• An “act-like-an-owner” mentality.
