Overview

Octus is currently seeking an experienced and strategic account management professional to join our Legal Account Management team. The Senior Director of Strategic Account Management will manage and cultivate strong relationships with large strategic law firm accounts throughout the Midwest & East Coast, with a focus on subscription renewals, expansion, uplifts, and cross-selling of additional Octus products.

In Short

  • Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for a book of existing strategic AmLaw50 clients
  • Drive key client interactions, focusing on expansion opportunities within accounts
  • Collaborate with the customer success team for exceptional client service
  • Work closely with the product team for product enhancements
  • Track and analyze KPIs and product usage for relationship management

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in account management, preferably with law firms
  • Experience selling data, research, and/or content products
  • Strong relationship cultivation skills
  • Proven track record of achieving quota and retention targets
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • JD preferred
