Overview

The Vice President of Strategic Accounts leads the development and implementation of account strategies to maximize winery exposure and volume in Specialty Retail off-premise chains, focusing on building relationships with key retailers across the USA.

In Short

  • Build productive relationships with internal divisions.
  • Analyze sales performance using syndicated data.
  • Manage travel to customer sites, requiring over 50% travel.
  • Ensure compliance with company budgets and initiatives.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree; additional sales training is a plus.
  • 10+ years of sales experience, ideally with national accounts.
  • Proven success in managing budgets and maximizing ROI.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and drive organizational changes.
  • Experience in CPG selling; wine and spirits experience is beneficial.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial approach and experience in smaller teams.
  • Ability to adhere to company core standards.
  • Existing relationships at the buyer level are preferred.
