Overview

The Processing Systems team is central to accelerating payment acceptance at Nuvei and its clients. Timely certification of devices and interfaces broadens Nuvei’s solution offering enabling acquirers, processors, and merchants to embrace the latest technologies available. Certifications include compliance to various incoming specifications for transaction processing, EMV/Chip device compliance to the various card brands, and compliance to host/gateway specifications.

In Short

• Manage the process of POS terminal certifications from intake to L3 certification.
• Provide technical certification and developmental support to POS product providers.
• Manage work-streams, schedules, and priorities based on stakeholder input.
• Ensure testing tools and systems are maintained for efficient certification execution.
• Facilitate the intake process for new solutions for certification.
• Review paperwork to confirm validity of necessary documents.
• Work with development teams to support host specifications and EMV processing.
• Train colleagues to ensure proficiency in certification processes.
• Identify risks early and craft solutions to mitigate delays.
• Participate in requirements, design, and rollout of new products and services.

Requirements

• Experience in certification management or related field.
• Strong understanding of POS systems and EMV compliance.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Technical background in payment processing preferred.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Experience in drafting standard operating procedures.
