Aviation Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Michael Baker International is seeking an Aviation Project Manager to join our Federal Aviation team for the delivery of airfield engineering projects that sustain and modernize critical airfield infrastructure for the US Military in the United States and worldwide.

In Short

• Lead a team of airfield design experts for airfield pavement projects.
• Coordinate with national aviation staff and external partners.
• Collaborate with aviation department managers for project opportunities.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and UFC criteria.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Travel to offices for collaboration as necessary.
• Prepare technical specifications and project documentation.
• Conduct field inspections and site investigations.
• Support project execution for military clients.

Requirements

• 10 years of project management and civil engineering experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with DoD airfield projects.
• Ability to work remotely and travel as needed.
• US Passport for international travel.
• Licensed Professional Civil Engineer preferred.
• Understanding of USACE and NAVFAC delivery requirements.
• Experience in preparing technical SOWs.
