The Outpatient Coding Educator provides coding, billing, and documentation auditing for physician medical practices, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations while delivering education to staff.

Requirements

• 5 years of coding experience in medical practices.
• Specialized training in medical terminology and coding guidelines.
• Prior auditing experience in E&M Leveling.
• Teaching experience in a healthcare setting.
• Certification from AAPC or AHIMA (CPC or CCS-P).
• CPMA or CDEO certification required.
