Overview

Cedar Park Group is hiring for an Outpatient Coding Auditor in Buffalo, NY. This is a remote, short-term position for the summer that offers a competitive pay.

In Short

Conduct annual coding audits for ED, SDS, and Observation Charts.
Audit approximately 300 outpatient charts annually.
Prepare total audit, scoring, rebuttals, and executive summaries.
Communicate audit findings and trends with leadership.
Lead educational sessions for groups and individuals.
Analyze audit findings and create executive reports.
Review charge entry sheets for accuracy.
Validate and verify coding using 3M CAC.
Work approximately 4-6 charts per hour.
Flexible part-time to full-time shifts available.

Requirements

Experience with Meditech EHR.
Comfortable communicating with leadership.
Experience in creating and conducting education sessions.
Certifications from AHIMA or AAPC required.
