Overview

Assist in the implementation and delivery of compensation programs and procedures for the healthcare system, supporting Nuvance Health’s goals and initiatives.

In Short

  • Implement and administer compensation programs including merit and market analyses.
  • Participate in compensation surveys and job evaluation processes.
  • Support internal equity and external competitiveness through data collection.
  • Conduct market assessments and provide cost-effective recommendations.
  • Participate in Total Rewards team initiatives affecting compensation.
  • Ensure compliance with laws regarding compensation.
  • Assist with Fair Labor Standards Act exemption tests.
  • Keep updated on legislative changes impacting the hospital system.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems effectively.
  • Requires bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of related experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of progressive, related experience.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Courses toward Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mid-level application of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Emerging analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Lawson/Infor preferred).
