Overview

The Business Support Officer will support the Public Health service, ensuring the smooth operation of the public health office through various administrative and organizational tasks.

In Short

  • Permanent contract, 37 hours per week.
  • Support across Corporate Governance, HR, Health and Safety, and Public Health Partnerships.
  • Provide diary and email support to the Senior Management Team.
  • Assist in project management and key initiatives.
  • Maintain and monitor information on SharePoint.
  • Work in a hybrid model, with remote and office attendance.
  • Possess strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Good standard of education and relevant office experience required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking team player.

Requirements

  • Experience in a business support role.
  • Strong IT skills, especially with SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in public health or related fields is advantageous.
  • Ability to forward plan and manage time effectively.
  • Good standard of education.
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
