Overview

The Business Support Officer will provide essential support to the Voids Team within Housing Repairs and Maintenance, ensuring effective delivery of associated works.

In Short

  • Provide business support to the Voids Team.
  • Maintain manual and electronic records.
  • Compile documentation including letters, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Process work orders, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Monitor spending against budget.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports.
  • Attend meetings and take minutes.
  • Work collaboratively within the team.
  • Support various administrative tasks.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure effective communication.

Requirements

  • Proficient administration skills.
  • NVQ 3 / ONC level or equivalent experience.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at level C or above.
  • Experience in a Repairs and Maintenance environment (desirable).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in data handling.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Experience with report generation.
