Overview

The Business Support Operator at Farm Boy is responsible for providing support to various locations including stores, warehouses, and corporate offices, ensuring quality service through customer service tools and product knowledge.

In Short

  • Provide first level business support to Farm Boy employees.
  • Deliver business support with urgency and positivity.
  • Act as a contact point for suppliers and vendors.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues using various tools.
  • Escalate major issues to appropriate teams.
  • Understand the Point-of-Sale system for retail stores.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone and email.
  • Log and manage support tickets through a Help Desk system.
  • Maintain documentation for business and technical support.
  • May undertake additional related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in support or technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Customer Service or Help Desk.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and information collection skills.
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of retail systems and processes.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like FreshDesk.
  • Flexibility regarding hours of work.
