Overview

The Training & Development Specialist will support the coordination and facilitation of a variety of programs for learner groups around the globe ranging from new employees to company leaders. They will have weekly/monthly planning and coordination tasks, such as sending calendar invitations for live sessions, checking HR Excel documents for new managers, and parsing compliance reporting data. The Training & Development Specialist will also have people-centered tasks, such as leading New Hire Onboarding weekly live sessions, facilitating employee skills training, and following up with learners about training or requests. With prior background, the specialist can also have a hand in Instructional Design for company-wide soft skill training and ad-hoc development requests. This role will be part of the larger Training & Enablement department, reporting into the Manager, Training & Development.

  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly onboarding sessions
  • Maintain onboarding content accuracy through regular reviews
  • Design and build new onboarding sessions with support
  • Manage program communications timeline
  • Facilitate live learning sessions for the NinjaXP program
  • Monitor HR reports for new manager enrollments
  • Track learner progress and follow up on training
  • Generate monthly compliance reporting
  • Coordinate monthly company newsletter content
  • Create custom learning content for training needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Education, or HR preferred
  • 1-3 years experience in Training, Learning & Development, or HR
  • Clear communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite, proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with WorkRamp or other LMS preferred
  • Knowledge of instructional design is a plus
