The Senior Data Engineer, Data Services will partner with function leaders to discover, plan, build, and monitor business automation, focusing on creating and managing data pipelines.

In Short

Lead meetings and collaborate with stakeholders on projects.
Research and write proposals for system advancements.
Identify and implement internal process improvements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Mentor other Data Engineers.
Perform complex data analysis to determine root causes.
Enhance existing data integration processes.
Support testing efforts for data issues.
Redesign analytics and data processing architecture.
Collaborate to maintain project catalog and priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum five years of programming experience, preferably with Python.
Minimum five years of experience with SQL.
At least two years of experience with a data warehouse, preferably Snowflake.
Experience with REST APIs, SFTP, file manipulation, JSON, XML.
Experience with Git repository maintenance.
