Junior Operations Statistician - Remote

Overview

The Junior Statistician executes and analyzes statistical operations processes, including sample maintenance, updating store characteristics, determining expansion factors, and final database review.

In Short

• Participate in daily preparation meetings and sample management.
• Maintain and execute samples, including rotation oversampling.
• Calculate projection factors.
• Set up annual data quality controls and review parameters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Arts, preferably in statistics, mathematics, economics, or engineering with a focus on statistics.
• Intermediate English.
• Work experience in quantitative analysis (0-1 year).
• Basic knowledge of sampling design techniques.
• Knowledge of quality control techniques.
• Practical knowledge of SQL and database structures (basic).
• Experience with statistical software such as R/Python.
• Experience with Microsoft software like Excel (intermediate level), Word, and PowerPoint.
