Overview

The Director of Legal Affairs and Compliance will be a strategic and business-minded legal leader to oversee corporate governance, compliance, employment law, and commercial transactions. This role will be instrumental in mitigating risk, ensuring compliance, and managing software/SaaS contracts while supporting our client’s continued growth in the VC-backed tech space.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• 6+ years of legal experience in corporate law and SaaS contracts
• Experience in VC-backed tech companies preferred
• Understanding of corporate governance and securities law
• Strong background in employment law and workforce compliance
• Experience drafting and negotiating software agreements
• Knowledge of GDPR and CCPA regulations
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
