Overview

The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) manages the efficient flow of electricity on more than 11,000 circuit-miles of high-voltage transmission lines, dispatching power from hundreds of generating units across the state.

In Short

• Full-time position as a Senior Business Process Architect.
• Partner with business owners to analyze needs and define requirements.
• Configure solutions within NYISO’s compliance software platform.
• Design and implement automated workflows.
• Provide leadership in process disciplines and methodologies.
• Lead Business Process Analysis efforts and formal project teams.
• Educate organization on Business Process Management (BPM) tools.
• Assist in the development and mentoring of Business Process Architects.
• Standardize documentation and processes within workflow automation tools.
• Work in a dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Seven years of relevant industry experience required.
• Understanding of power industry and/or commodity markets is desirable.
• Programming skills in SQL, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with SQL and SAP Crystal Reports.
• Experience with VB.Net and C# is a plus.
