Senior Software Engineer - SAP Monitoring - Remote

Overview

The SAP Monitoring team delivers innovative observability solutions for enterprise customers whose IT and business systems rely on SAP as a cornerstone. Our solutions span core infrastructure and application monitoring, user experience monitoring, end-to-end systems monitoring, and business process monitoring.

In Short

• Write high-quality, performant, and secure code for SAP technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Develop and maintain custom SAP Fiori apps and SAPUI5 components.
• Debug and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
• Explore and implement innovative solutions for SAP monitoring.
• 5+ years of experience in front-end development.
• Proficiency in object-oriented JavaScript and backend Node.js services.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming.
• Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development, including SAPUI5, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Proficiency in object-oriented JavaScript and backend Node.js services development.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) or SAP Restful ABAP Programming (RAP) models.
• Proven expertise in building custom SAP Fiori apps from scratch.
• Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and OData services.
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP Cloud Foundry development.
• Familiarity with S/4 HANA CDS views.
• Nice to have: SAP Certifications.
• Understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
