Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Martech Solutions & Data Manager who blends technical expertise with strategic vision. In this hands-on role, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of our evolving marketing technology stack. As a key liaison between marketing, IT, and data teams, you will bridge critical gaps and ensure seamless collaboration. As a forward-thinking leader, you will drive Martech strategy, oversee system architecture and integration, and empower the marketing team with advanced tools, processes, and insights. This is a hybrid role, expected to be onsite 3 days a week in our San Jose HQ.

  • Drive Martech Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive strategies that leverage marketing technology platforms to enhance customer engagement, acquisition, and retention.
  • Identify Emerging Martech Trends: Actively monitor the evolving landscape of marketing technologies, recommending tools and platforms that enhance marketing effectiveness and drive growth, particularly in the subscription business model.
  • Be The Martech Stack Expert: Stay at the forefront of marketing technology trends, tools, and best practices, providing expert guidance to teams across the organization.
  • Integrate Platforms: Oversee the integration of data from various marketing tools (CRM, analytics, email, mobile marketing) to ensure seamless and effective data flow.
  • Manage Systems: Take ownership of Martech platforms, ensuring full utilization for data collection, feature adoption, reporting, and analysis to drive actionable business insights.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Own the accuracy and consistency of marketing data, regularly performing data hygiene tasks to remove duplicates, correct errors, and ensure optimal data quality.
  • Build Nurture Campaigns and Automations: Design and implement automated customer journeys and triggers to nurture leads and drive long-term engagement.
  • Create Customer Segmentation and Personalization: Build customer segments based on behavior and demographics, delivering tailored marketing messages and experiences that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Test AI-Driven Analytics: Leverage AI and machine learning tools to enhance marketing performance through predictive analytics, audience segmentation, and personalized customer experiences.
  • Own Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau to provide actionable insights about customer behavior, sales performance, and campaign ROI effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital marketing operations, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling Martech stacks in complex organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of current and emerging trends within the digital marketing and online services sectors.
  • Martech Platform Mastery: Expertise in platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Braze, Marketo, Pardot, Google Analytics, Adobe Experience Cloud, and Tableau.
  • Data Languages: Proficiency in data management tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, APIs).
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of liaising effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
