Overview

The Welsh Speaking Customer Service Advisor will support the delivery of the Discretionary Assistance Fund (DAF) contract work, acting as the first point of contact for applicants and processing applications.

In Short

  • Full-time position (37.5 hours a week).
  • Process emergency payments and individual assistance grant applications.
  • Manage and process data in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Accurate data recording and eligibility checks.
  • Communicate with applicants in both English and Welsh.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve targets.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Act as a key deliverer of the DAF contract.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Understand legislation and criteria for awarding grants.

Requirements

  • Welsh Language speaker at conversational level.
  • Ability to manage data and process applications accurately.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of financial hardship support systems.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks.
