Commercial Legal Counsel - Remote

Overview

Nebius is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Legal Counsel to join our US legal team. This role is best suited for an attorney with strong experience negotiating and managing complex commercial agreements, particularly in the technology, AI, and digital infrastructure sectors.

In Short

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Provide legal support for complex commercial transactions and strategic business initiatives.
• Partner closely with business, product, procurement, and operational teams.
• Ensure company activities comply with applicable US laws and regulations.
• Develop and improve contract templates and internal processes.
• Manage external counsel and coordinate legal workstreams.
• Identify legal risks in commercial transactions.
• Support cross-functional initiatives related to technology and AI.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited US law school and admission to practice in at least one US state.
• Approximately 3-7 years of relevant legal experience.
• Prior in-house legal experience is required.
• Significant hands-on experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
