Mechanical Design Engineer - Remote

Overview

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

In Short

• Plan and implement cost-effective and reliant mechanical designs and distribution systems
• Collaborate with internal business partners and external vendors to validate and test mechanical systems
• Create designs that meet Nebius’s quality benchmarks
• Seek new designs and integrate new technologies
• Identify and document required electrical equipment
• Oversee the work of external vendors and contractors at construction sites

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in building services engineering or mechanical engineering, or 10+ years of relevant experience
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical design documentation for construction
• 7+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial mechanical design
• In-depth knowledge of data center design, BMS & HVAC design
• Understanding of data center mechanical systems
• Good understanding of electrical equipment related to data centers
• Good data analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
