Mechanical Design Engineer - Remote

Overview

An experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer is needed to design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical components utilizing NX and SolidWorks.

In Short

• Design and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies.
• Manage end-to-end design lifecycle including modelling, drafting, and revision control.
• Perform cable/harness routing and integration in 3D environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development.
• Manage product structure and BoMs in Teamcenter.
• Support CR/ECN processes.
• Conduct tolerance analysis and design validation reviews.
• Participate in FMEA and risk assessment activities.
• Document procedures and design reports as needed.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Siemens NX and SolidWorks CAD tools.
• Proficient in Teamcenter PLM system.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals.
• Experience with cable routing and assembly design.
• Good knowledge of BoM creation and maintenance.
• Exposure to FMEA and risk analysis techniques.
