Narvar is growing! We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to build our fraud prevention products and improve all aspects of the Narvar platform. Data is at the core of our competitive advantage so the work you do has a large impact across the company, our business partners, and the lives of our end users.

In Short

Design, develop, and maintain robust streaming data pipelines.
Architect, implement, and optimize APIs for large-scale databases.
Design and optimize table schemas in Bigtable.
Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code in Java, Golang, or Rust.
Drive projects from concept to production.
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues.
Stay updated with industry trends in data engineering and DevOps.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for scalable data solutions.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with streaming data pipelines, Apache Beam, Dataflow.
Experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub.
Experience with Google Bigtable/Cassandra.
Expertise in designing table schemas in Bigtable.
Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Rust.
Experience in a zero-to-one startup environment.
Strong ownership mindset and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
