Overview

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Market Solutions Coordinator to join the Market Solutions team. As a professional membership organization, NAEYC works to ensure high-quality early learning for every child, from birth through age 8, and supports educators, families, and early childhood professionals.

In Short

• Creates quotes and sales orders based on sales manager requests.
• Responds to customer inquiries and assists sales manager with customer communications.
• Monitors fulfillment and identifies solutions with assistance from operations and product managers.
• Oversees billing and collections in coordination with direct sales tracking and the finance team.
• Tracks direct sales; analyzes data for leads, trends and reporting.
• Works with internal and external sales team to prepare sales materials.
• Serves as the first point of contact for urgent calls, emails and messages.
• Contributes to research and outreach toward securing new customer relationships.
• Supports staff for conferences and trade shows by coordinating logistics.
• Coordinates staff travel logistics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years of customer service and project-related experience.
• Prior member-driven non-profit or association experience preferred.
• Ability to write correspondence in a clear and professional manner.
• Utilize effective listening skills to confirm understanding and solve problems.
• Superior customer service skills in person, via phone and in writing.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Knowledge of NAEYC's membership and resource sales.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word and Excel.
