Overview

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Reliability Specialist to join our Accreditation Team in the Early Learning Program. As a professional membership organization, NAEYC works to ensure high-quality early learning for every child, from birth through age 8, and supports educators, families, and early childhood professionals. The Reliability Specialist will play a key role in maintaining the quality and consistency of NAEYC's accreditation processes through assessment visits, data analysis, and training efforts.

In Short

  • Lead monthly reliability reviews for assessor teams.
  • Collect and analyze assessment data to identify trends.
  • Coordinate assessor scheduling and logistics.
  • Make assessor assignments based on schedules and workload.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assessors.
  • Conduct accreditation visits and program documentation reviews.
  • Collaborate with other specialists to analyze data.
  • Support training and professional development of assessors.
  • Provide supplemental support in the absence of other specialists.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in child development or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in an educational setting for young children.
  • Proficiency in MS365 and data entry.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Professionalism and flexibility.
  • Results-driven with a passion for early childhood education.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Understanding of NAEYC Accreditation process.
  • Commitment to continuous learning in early childhood education.
