Overview

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Data Analyst to join the Market Solutions team. As a professional membership organization, NAEYC works to ensure high-quality early learning for every child, from birth through age 8, and supports educators, families, and early childhood professionals.

In Short

• Collaborate with the Director to identify data needs aligned with strategic goals.
• Gather data from internal databases, surveys, and external sources.
• Clean, prepare, and analyze data using statistical software.
• Identify trends and actionable insights from data.
• Create and present reports and dashboards for non-technical audiences.
• Stay current on best practices in data analysis.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Certification in Data Science or related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in data analysis or related tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in a membership-based or association setting preferred.
• Familiarity with data collection systems (Salesforce, NetForum, iMIS).
• Proficiency in SQL and BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Preferred certifications in Tableau, Salesforce, or Microsoft Power BI.
