Overview

The Senior Financial Control Risk Analyst is responsible for the execution of the SOX testing process, including control evaluation, test activities, and risk assessment for assigned areas, with a focus on championing access to financial opportunities.

In Short

• Responsible for SOX testing process execution.
• Define testing scope and evaluate controls.
• Monitor issue resolution and report activities.
• Assist in supervising assigned staffing/consultants.
• Work with business partners to improve SOX controls.
• Conduct Walkthrough meetings with business customers.
• Create test scripts and complete control testing.
• Document procedures and prepare work papers.
• Communicate results of SOX reviews.
• Ensure timely implementation of remediation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with SOX processes.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing complex data.
• Strong planning and project management skills.
• Proficient with MS Office tools.
• Public Accounting experience is a plus.
• Pursuit of CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA, or comparable designation.
