Wallet Fraud Investigator - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join us as a Wallet Fraud Investigator. As part of our team, you will engage in identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities within the Mukuru card, wallet and value added services.

In Short

• Monitor card and wallet fraud alerts and detect any irregularities in the business.
• Navigate fraud dashboards to come up with solutions for the fraud trends.
• Investigate allegations of irregularities including fraud in line with policies, procedures, and legislation.
• Use data analytics to obtain necessary evidence on allegations.
• Engage with relevant stakeholders during the investigation process.
• Compile comprehensive reports on all investigated incidences.
• Assist the team with fraud training administration.
• Act as the day-to-day escalation point for fraud queries.
• Resolve Zendesk tickets.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
• Related tertiary qualification (Essential)
• Minimum 1 year investigations experience with card and wallet products (Essential)
• Experience in the Financial Services sector
• Knowledge of machine learning tools
• Knowledge of South Africa's fraud and AML/CFT legislations
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI data Analytics Tools
