Senior Risk Investigator, Card Fraud - Remote

We are looking to hire a Senior Risk Investigator on the Card Fraud team to help protect Mercury cardholders from unauthorized activity, all while balancing customer experience.

In Short

• Review and action card fraud alerts in MasterCard Fraud Center and our internal transaction monitoring queue
• Write new or tune existing card decline/monitoring rules directly in MasterCard Fraud Center
• Collaborate with the Disputes team to understand and respond to new fraud trends
• Send outbound customer communications about potentially suspicious transactions
• Work with Customer Support to resolve inquiries related to card declines
• Collaborate with Risk Strategy, Risk Product, Risk Engineering
• Write clear documentation on current processes

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience monitoring and mitigating card fraud in a FinTech environment
• Familiarity with MasterCard Fraud Center or similar tools
• Highly motivated self-starter comfortable in high stakes environments
• Ability to modify SQL queries for deeper investigations
• Problem-solving skills to enhance product and processes
• Comfort working flexible hours for business-critical situations
