Legal Operations Coordinator - Remote

Overview

We’re excited to welcome a Legal Operations Coordinator to our growing team at Mercury! As the third member of our Legal Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in managing the foundations that keep our Legal department running smoothly, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real, lasting impact as we scale.

In Short

• Serve as the first point of contact for all Legal and Legal Ops requests.
• Coordinate team agendas and meetings, and track software subscriptions.
• Manage updates to external facing legal terms.
• Maintain and improve SOPs and internal documentation.
• Lead and support team-wide initiatives.
• Help onboard new firms to e-billing software.
• Manage updates and vendor relationships for legal tech stack.
• Onboard new members of the Legal team.
• Train team members on tools and optimize usage.
• Identify opportunities to automate or streamline workflows.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Legal Operations or similar role.
• Proficiency with productivity and legal tech tools (Slack, Google Suite, DocuSign, etc.).
• Proven project management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• A proactive, resourceful mindset.
