Azure Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an Azure Engineer to support development, modernization, and migration in support of a government multi-cloud environment with 50+ customer tenants and growth. Aside from technical qualifications, the applicant should have effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

In Short

• Serve as an escalation point from Tier 2 support for complex incidents and outages within the Azure GovCloud environment
• Investigate and resolve issues across various Azure services
• Perform root cause analysis to address underlying infrastructure issues
• Continuously monitor tenant environments using Azure Monitor and other tools
• Manage and maintain the Azure infrastructure, ensuring security and compliance
• Collaborate with the Architecture team to implement best practices
• Document incident response procedures and resolutions
• Provide technical mentorship to Tier 2 support teams
• Work online from 8:00 AM Eastern to 5:00 PM Eastern

Requirements

• Azure Administrator Associate certification
• 5+ years of integration and systems analysis experience focused on Azure
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure services
• Experience with incident management and resolving high-priority incidents
• Extensive knowledge of Azure GovCloud
• Exemplary communication and analytical skills
