Overview

The Developer Educator will empower developers through education and build technical solutions that make a difference, working closely with the Moodle Academy & Community Sites team.

In Short

• Join the Moodle Academy & Community Sites team.
• Develop technical aspects of Moodle Academy websites.
• Create Moodle Academy Developer courses and programs.
• Work with community members to build courses.
• Develop the Moodle Academy theme.
• Maintain and develop Moodle plugins.
• Write high quality Moodle code.
• Run manual, unit, and behat tests for QA.
• Debug and resolve coding issues.
• Run ABC Learning Design workshops.

Requirements

• Experience in Moodle development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax.
• Experience in Quality Assurance processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with community members.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in developing educational content.
