Fraud Investigator - Prevent - Remote

Overview

The Fraud Investigator role within our Prevent pillar provides vital intervention and response to Monzo customers who are experiencing potential active fraud attempts on their funds.

In Short

• Work remotely from the UK.
• Handle cases of authorized card payment fraud and faster payment fraud.
• Make outbound calls to investigate suspicious transactions.
• Gather evidence from flagged transaction data.
• Make decisions on cases and manage flagged transactions.
• Provide support and advice to victims of fraud.
• Work condensed shifts, 4 days a week.
• Training period of 6 weeks required.
• Values-driven approach in line with Monzo’s core values.
• Salary range between £26,000 - £29,400 per year.

Requirements

• Experience in a fraud role within financial services.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with common fraud typologies.
• Ability to be persuasive and empathetic.
• Confidence in decision-making and problem-solving.
• UK residency and right to work in the UK.
